If the prospect is negative go with the flow but ask questions to know why there not happy with the product or service and take a note in front of them so is like you show them interest on their unhappiness
Say "thanks for sharing" (your negative experience) and give your information before they say anything smile
How about people tell you "no im not interest" you said sorry about that i dont know but its ok... then you look arround the place and ask about pass experience with some other product or service and look and listen carefully then maybe you can get information then give yours later

If a customer said i don't want tour information! pick it up and said : ok sir, i will give to your neighbor if in case you need it. just ask them... thanks... smile and go...
Never feel bad. some customers change their mind when they see the neighbor business are saving more money if is a service or they use your product first... so always expose that part...
